From Planning to Canning: a workshop series at the Ovid Library

From Planning to Canning

The Seneca County Cooperative Extension and Ovid Library have partnered to present a "Planning to Canning" course that will be held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30PM to 8PM starting March 10th through September 8th at the Edith B. Ford Memorial Library, Ovid, NY (with June & August classes at Ovid Fire Department).

Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension (SCCCE) presents a series of workshops that will give you all the information you need to get ready for a great gardening and preserving year.  Presented by SCCCE Master Gardeners and Human Ecology staff, each workshop costs only $5 or sign up for all seven for $30.

From Soils to Seeds—March 10
Planning, Layout, Planting & Yield—April 14 
Pest, Disease & Weed Management—May 12
Preserving Strawberries & Other Early Produce—June 9
Your Garden Questions Answered—July 14
Preserving Late Summer Fruits & Veggies—August 11
Put Your Garden To Bed & Storing Root Crops—Sept 8
