Announcement: Salad Farmers & Spring Open House



Announcement from the Ithaca Children's Garden:

Sunday, May 5
Spring Open House

Celebrate spring and help "open" the Garden for the season! Join us between 1 and 4 pm and get dirty planting early crops, investigate tadpoles in the wetlands, explore the magic of fairies, make treats for the birds, and create a special Mother's Day gift. A ribbon cutting celebration will open the Bulb Labyrinth Memorial Garden at 2pm.

Salad Farmers
Salad gardening from design to harvest!
Lots of hands-on gardening, garden ecology, games and fun.
Each child will adopt their own garden plot and use the different colors, textures, and sizes of lettuce, greens, edible flowers, and other spring veggies to design a salad garden as beautiful as it is tasty.
Every Monday from 3-4pm beginning May 6
For families with children ages 3 - 9.
Registration required, space is limited. $60-$90 per garden plot, self determined sliding scale.
