Around the World with Fresh Summer Herbs and Salads!

Sunday, July 15, 1- 4 p.m. at Cornell Plantations
Discover some easy-to-make salads featuring a variety of fresh summer herbs. After a walk through the Herb Garden with curator Pam Shade to discuss herb cultivation and harvesting, guest chef and educator Carine Feist will show you how to make four different salads: Romanian eggplant salad, Moroccan charmoula batata salad, Italian panzanella, and Israeli tabouli. Samples of each salad will be served, along with a refreshing herbal iced tea and a Cuban mojito fruit and Cornell Dairy maple yogurt parfait for dessert!
