Fresh from the Garden: Homemade Jams at Cooperative Extension in Ithaca. Participants will use fresh fruit to make a cooked jam (reduced-sugar recipe) and a freezer jam, and will take home a jar of jam from the workshop. This is a hands-on workshop, limited in size. Gardens for Humanity Herbs, Perennials & Permaculture Saturday, June 16, 10:00am-4:00pm  at the Ithaca Children's Garden at Cass Park Rt. 89 This hands-on class will cover perennials as an easier and more sustainable way of growing food; growing herbs and perennial vegetables, introduction to permaculture, Herb Spiral construction .
