A new twist on a CSA: Community Supported Kitchen


In a spin on "Community Supported Agriculture," where participants pay in advance to receive a weekly box of farm veggies, entrepreneurs in Ithaca have started a "Community Supported Kitchen."  The concept is similar -- customers pay in advance to receive a box of prepared foods, made from local products and intended to complement foods that are in season. It's called the Crooked Carrot.
