Taste more than 20 apple varieties at Ovid Fall Festival

An announcement from the Ovid Library:

Ovid Library Fall Festival 
Saturday, October 30th 4-6:30pm

For kids:  old-fashion games, pumpkin painting (pumpkins donated by Silverqueen and Eastman Farms), corn husk dolls, beading - all facilitated by Cornell students in costume.  Library gifts for kids in costume & costume parade at 5:30.

For foodies:  taste test 20+ antique and modern apples from Daring Drake Farm; enjoy a cheese tasting with Muranda Cheese; try popcorn/maple syrup balls from Three Stones Farm; taste fresh produce from Six Circles Farm; sample Lively Run Goat Cheese.  There is a $5 suggested tasting donation.   Also, judge the best apple pie in Ovid just by joining our library association (you earn voting rights!).

For everyone:  Complimentary cider, hot chocolate and coffee; music; bake sale; raffle

For the Halloween spirit:  Spooky historic stories around the campfire at 6pm.
