The Future of P&C Foods Supermarkets Uncertain

The parent company of P&C grocery stores has filed for bankruptcy, leaving the future of Ithaca's three stores uncertain.  

At the moment, stores are operating "as usual," according to a document released by the company.  The company, Penn Traffic, is looking for buyers for its stores, suggesting that they will continue to operate under different ownership.  Whether or not a new buyer retains current employees remains to be seen.
