at The Cellar d’Or Wine Shop and Tompkins Workers Center!
On Friday, Oct. 4
Eve’s Cidery owner and cider master Autumn Stoscheck will pour tastings
alongside Redbyrd Orchard Cider and Bellwether Hard Cider at The Cellar d’Or Wine Shop from 4-6pm.
At 6:30pm,
we’ll head over to the Tompkins County
Worker’s Center to wash it all down with a presentation by Autumn on making
small-batch, craft hard cider from upstate NY apples. We’ll talk about why the Finger Lakes is poised to become an
internationally recognized cider region, and taste the components that will
make this possible.
This delicious talk is presented collaboratively by FLX
Cider Alliance and Durland Alternative Library’s new satellite at the TC
Worker’s Center. Join us at The
Cellar d’Or for tasty libations followed by a fantastic talk at the Workers
Center by a true cider artist.
