In addition to the evening food, wine, and beer tasting and the full-day conference focused on community dialogue, this year's conference has an exciting addition. The Rural Health Network of SCNY has been selected by the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) as one of seven nonprofit organizations to conduct projects at the intersection of food systems and health. Our Healthy Farms, Healthy People State Meeting will draw stakeholders from around the state to delve further into the issues surrounding local food and sustainability. More information about the meeting speakers and conference participants will be available soon.
Join us as we explore the great challenges surrounding the local food system and the opportunities for a livable, sustainable future for our families and our communities. Celebrate at the evening event with delicious, healthy, trustworthy local food, beverages, music, and fun! We look forward to welcoming you.
