Have you been looking for an entry point into the endlessly fascinating world of mushroom cultivation and foraging? Learn how to cultivate log-grown shiitake mushrooms in this hands-on workshop, and take home an inoculated log to get you started! We will also learn methods for outdoor cultivation of oyster, lion’s mane, king stropharia, shaggy mane, and elm oyster mushrooms. Though the wild mushroom season is winding down, we will also go on a short guided foray and will learn about the safest and most delicious local species.
