7th Annual Compost Fair at Cornell Cooperative Extension

Announcement:

The Master Composters of Tompkins County will host the 17th Annual Compost Fair at Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) on Sunday, May1st, 2011 from 12pm - 4pm.  The Compost Fair is being held in conjunction with the 4-H Duck Race, which takes place from 10am - 4pm (also at CCE).

Compost Fair attendees will learn how to turn into compost the “clean green” materials that result from spring yard work, activity stations will provide hands-on experience and lots of information on the materials that can be composted, types of bins to use, and how to build and turn a pile. Activities will be fun for the whole family!

The Compost Fair is free and open to everyone. Compost and worm bins will be available for purchase.
