Chef Samantha Izzo, from Simply Red Bistro, appeared on last night's episode of "Chopped." The series challenges four chefs to turn a selection of everyday ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal. After each course, a contestant gets "chopped" until the last man or woman left standing claims victory and $10,000.
Apparently, she knows how to cook a great goat brain appetizer, but a New York City line chef took the grand prize. If you missed the show, (I think, maybe, eventually) it will appear on Hulu.com.
