Ithacans learn from a Hudson Valley farm

Last week, CCE-TC and Ithaca's Groundswell Center for Local Food and Farming hosted an enthusiastic crowd eager to learn from Hawthorne Valley Farm, a farm in the eastern part of New York State.

The Farm's Education Director, Rachel Schneider, spoke about the mission of the Hawthorne Valley Farm, the nature of farming and the arts, and the Hudson Valley's innovative CRAFT (Collaborative Regional Alliance in Farmer Training) program.
