Video: Local grapes become Verjus. Ver-what?


At Red Newt Cellars, unripe green grapes are crushed to make Verjus, an acidic juice that can be used as a substitute for vinegar.



In this video, Tina Hazlitt from Sawmill Creek Vineyard explains how she began making Verjus.
