Yes, this is from my yard! I went to a mushroom growing workshop and brought home a log inoculated with mushroomy goodness.
Basically, you drill holes in a freshly cut log, put in mushroom spawn, and seal the holes with wax. So far I've only gotten two mushrooms (this was a log started a year ago, takes a long time). I think something might be eating mine- the bark on the log is being stripped away by some critter.
