Gardening project planned for low income Ithaca neighborhoods

Two Cornell graduate students, Christine Porter and Megan Gregory, are spearheading a pilot garden project in Ithaca.  They plan to make home and community food gardens possible for anyone who would like them, regardless of financial means and gardening experience by tapping existing services, supporting local leadership, and providing funding for materials.

The project, called Gardens for Humanity, is funded in part by Cornell's Robinson-Appel Humanitarian Award.
